THE PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES TEAM VISION STATEMENT:

The vision of the CCSEC Psychological Services Staff is to serve as positive, collaborative, efficient, resourceful, members of the campus team regarding legalities of identifying (evaluation/identification process) and supporting students (IEP development, scientific research-based, peer reviewed instructional support) with Emotional Disturbance, OHI-Other Health Impairments (ADHD, ADD), Autism, Chronic Behavior Disorders, as well as assistance with the FBA process (Functional Behavior Analysis), BIP process (Behavior Intervention Plan), 108 B process (requesting an observation and assistance for a student), RESULTS Intervention support and importantly supporting classroom teachers to foster student success.

       What is a Behavioral Specialist?

Behavior Specialists meet with staff and families to develop
behavior plans.

They refer families and children to mental health professionals in the community who are able to work with them while they are in our program and after they move on.
